Pushing boundaries subsea
We have built our reputation on pushing the boundaries of subsea excavation at depths in excess of 300 metres and we are now also acknowledged as the world’s leading deepwater excavation and asset recovery experts.
As a result, we understand that each deepwater and ultra-deepwater project brings a new set of challenges and that’s why our core Evo Excavation System not only comprises the best MFE and claycutting technology but is also backed by the Marin team’s unique hands-on experience for a rapid, customised response.
Marin Evo Excavation System tools including the Evo 150, 300, and 600, Evo DS, Evo Hydraulic Grab, and Evo Claycutting System are all designed to operate at unlimited depths, and to these we can add the Vortex Subsea Excavation System range of ROV-mounted equipment supplied by Marin Group specialist Marin Vortex. We also supply a full range of customised containers and modules through Marin JMS, and our alliances with Fugro-Rovtech, Ecosse Subsea Systems, and Cardox International make it possible to offer further specialised deepwater ROV, excavation and cutting support.
The Marin team have more than 30 years’ experience of operations in hostile and challenging deepwater and ultra-deepwater locations and have successfully completed complex subsea projects worldwide, including
- BOP and riser recovery (1640 metres), Angola (2000)
- Ormen Lange Phases 1, 2, 3 (800-1100 metres), Norway, for PSLES/Hydro and Statoil (2004-2005)
- Diverter and slip joint recovery (1920 metres), Brunei (2003)
